TOEFL Preparation Course in Bali

The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is one of the most widely recognized English proficiency tests in the world, accepted by universities, scholarship programs, and employers globally. There are two versions in use, and we prepare students for either one, depending on which you need:

  • TOEFL iBT — the internet-based test, individually registered, required for most international university admissions, visas, and global recognition. Covers all four skills.
  • TOEFL ITP — the institutional version, commonly required for things like LPDP scholarship applications and many Indonesian university or job requirements. Covers three sections, with an optional Speaking add-on.

What You’ll Cover

For TOEFL iBT (all four skills):

  • Reading — academic passage structure, vocabulary in context, skimming and scanning strategies
  • Listening — lecture and conversation formats, note-taking techniques, and question types
  • Speaking — independent and integrated speaking tasks, fluency, pronunciation, and structuring a clear response under time pressure
  • Writing — independent and integrated writing tasks, essay structure, grammar accuracy, and coherent argument development

For TOEFL ITP (three sections, no Speaking/Writing in the core test):

  • Listening Comprehension — lecture and conversation formats, note-taking, and question types
  • Structure and Written Expression — grammar accuracy and sentence-structure recognition
  • Reading Comprehension — passage structure, vocabulary in context, skimming and scanning

An optional Speaking add-on for ITP is available on request.

Enrollment Requirement

You’ll need Intermediate (B1) level proficiency or above, or have completed Elementary 2 (A2) at JB English, to enroll in this course.
